Jim Schlosser – Co-Founder, CEO, Director Jim Schlosser has led Pacinian as Co-Founder and CEO from an idea 2 ½ years ago to a company today with a disruptive technology and world class team focused on executing to current and future design wins. Jim has a deep understanding of the value proposition and market requirements of haptics, as well as the strategies necessary to effectively deliver Pacinian’s solution. In his 10 year career at Advanced Input Systems, Jim successfully managed the company’s top two customers, the U.S. Army and GE Medical Systems, resulting in profitable growth and more than $20M of revenue. Jim holds firm to his values of true partnership and strong ethics, and seeks to make every business opportunity a personal win for the customer. Jim received an MBA from Gonzaga University and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
Cody Peterson – Co-Founder, CTO, Director Cody Peterson is the inventor and engineering artist behind the HapticTouch™ technology. His ability to make something complex simple has enabled Pacinian to offer a truly unique and revolutionary solution to the rapidly growing touch market. Prior to Pacinian, Cody was an applications engineer with Advanced Input Systems for 7 years, delivering innovative input device solutions for leading medical equipment and industrial customers including British Telecom, GE Medical Systems, and Philips Medical. He helped conceive the award winning Medigenic™ Keyboard, the first sterilizable and self-monitoring keyboard specifically designed to prevent cross contamination in hospitals. At Pacinian, Cody leads the technology and product teams that share his vision and passion for solving real industry problems. He has been granted 1 patent and has 8 patents pending.
Mike Levin – Vice President, Business DevelopmentMike joined Pacinian in May, 2009, and has made a significant impact by quickly forming industry partnerships and building a solid opportunity pipeline. Prior to Pacinian, Mike was President of Magnition, LLC, a business strategy consulting firm. Mike has over 20 years of haptics experience, much of it with Immersion Corporation, where he joined as an early employee and pioneered haptics into several markets including automotive, medical and touchscreens. Mike held several positions over his 14-year career at Immersion, including Vice President of Technology & Partnerships and General Manager of Touch Interface Products. Mike has also held engineering and project management positions at Merck & Co, Lego, Odetics, and the TRW Ballistic Missiles Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical / Avionics Engineering and Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from MIT. As an undergraduate, he worked on the EASE project, which flew on the Space Shuttle Atlantis. He has been awarded more than 20 patents, authored numerous papers on haptics and robotics, and presented at several international conferences.
Mike Wilson – CFOMike brings to Pacinian over 25 years of Senior Financing Executive success for both start-up and turnaround companies in several industries. From 2001 to 2003 Mike was the CFO for Vivato, Inc., a venture-backed Wi-Fi start-up. Mike was integral in acquiring more than $64M in equity investment and established all accounting and reporting systems. From 1988-2000 Mike was the CFO for Advanced Input Devices and assisted in the sale of the company to Esterline Technologies in 1999 for $43M. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Idaho.
Brad Telin – Director of OperationsBrad Telin is a seasoned operations executive with broad experience in supply chain management, project management, quality assurance, logistics and Lean Six Sigma. Prior to Pacinian, Brad was Director of Operations for General Dynamics – Itronix where he oversaw a 250+ person operations business unit focusing on new product introduction, supply chain, test and manufacturing engineering and program management. He also held positions as Director of Operations Engineering and OEM Business Manager. Prior to General Dynamics, Brad was the Director of Operations and Program Manager at World Wide Packets. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Idaho.
Andy Huska – Embedded SolutionsSpearheading the Electrical Engineering Solutions at Pacinian, Andy Huska has been instrumental in productizing the innovative brilliance in HapticTouch’s electrical design. With his wealth of electrical engineering knowledge and design savvy, coupled with his ‘let’s do it’ work ethic; a quantum leap has been made in user interface tactile feedback. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Science and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho, coupled with 5 years of engineering expertise.
Doug Krumpelman – Mechanical SolutionsAn inspired innovator and experienced designer, Doug Krumpelman is responsible for driving the Mechanical Engineering Solutions at Pacinian. With 15 years of user interface design experience with Advanced Input Systems and Allied Panels, Doug has been highly successful in creating solid, market ready solutions that provide value to customers. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho.
